Sports Turf Manager

We are seeking a dedicated Athletic Field Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Lawn Capital in Decatur, GA. This position is crucial for the upkeep of athletic fields, ensuring they are in optimal condition for use. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the grounds and facilities to ensure a clean and safe environment for all. The Athletic Field Maintenance Supervisor will perform a variety of tasks including mowing, weed eating, edging, and blowing to maintain the aesthetic and functional quality of the grounds. The Athletic Field Maintenance Supervisor will also assist with repairs, installations, and general maintenance of the athletic fields and common areas. The role requires a proactive approach to maintenance and a commitment to ensuring that all areas are well-kept and safe for users. The successful candidate will be expected to work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Duties:

• Perform routine landscape maintenance, including mowing and aerating to enhance turf health and appearance.
• Handle detailed tasks such as weed eating, edging, and blowing to maintain clean and polished outdoor spaces.
• Assist with drainage maintenance, irrigation troubleshooting, and general landscape repairs as needed.
• Follow daily work schedules, respond to emails, and collaborate with team members to complete assigned tasks efficiently.
• Maintain a proactive approach to landscape care, identifying and addressing potential issues before they become problems.
• Work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
