Assistant-in-Training
The Country Club of Waterbury was established in 1899 by world class architect Donald Ross. The course was one of the original founders of the (CSGA) Connecticut State Golf Association, and annually hosts the Russel G. Palmer Cups 54-hole amateur stroke-play championship. The golf course is currently under renovations to restore hidden rock-outcroppings by selectively removing trees to showcase specimen trees, improve airflow, sunlight and general aesthetics.
The Assistant-in-Training position will work closely with The Golf Course Superintendent and management team to gain the skills one needs to move up into the industry. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to get their hands dirty and learn all facets of golf course maintenance.
