Golf Course Superintendent

Willows Run Golf complex is seeking a skilled GCS to join a bustling multi-course facility in Redmond, WA. This is an opportunity to lead and enhance an already healthy operation - a role where you will be positioned to make an impact and grow internally. The facility is owned by a single individual that gives its leadership team the runway to operate their respective departments with trust and autonomy. 

The current superintendent will be moving to another golf course within the company and will be there for continued support to ensure a healthy transition. The company is expanding quickly, bringing a private course experience to the public golf sector with strong budgets and ambitious plans.

What we are looking for: 

•  A team player: This is a hands-on, working superintendent position leading a group of roughly 18 individuals (seasoned team). Entire facility has around 100 staff in-season

• You have an eye for the details - Accustomed to quality oriented cultural practices that produce memorable playing surfaces- Main driver for players coming back 

• Strong budget management skills - managing a $1.3M operating budget, you know your numbers and understand how to optimize expenses

• You enjoy getting your hands dirty and being in the weeds with various projects and upgrades - ⅓ of the profits are reinvested into the club each year

• You bring experience with cool-season grasses and a solid grasp of turf management practices, including irrigation, fertilization, and pest control 

• You enjoy working independently - if you need heavy direction… this likely isn't the role for you 

• You are goal oriented and internally motivated with a bias for action

Requirements for consideration:

• Must have a minimum of 2 years as a Golf Course Superintendent

• Ability to relocate to the Puget Sound Region

• GCSAA Class A preferred

What is offered:

• Total Compensation: $128,000 - $132,000 (Salary $120,000 + annual bonus)

• If CGCS or upon certification -  158k-162k  (Salary $150,000 + annual bonus)
