Course Information:

Established in 1947, Peachtree Golf Club is a Bobby Jones and Robert Trent Jones design located in Atlanta, Georgia. Peachtree Golf Club is ranked #25 nationwide and consistently ranked in the top 10 nationwide for turf conditioning. The golf course consists of A-1 Bentgrass greens, Zorro Zoysia fairways, Diamond Zoysia tees and 419 Bermuda rough.

Position Description:

The management team's goal is for the Assistant-in-Training to be successful in their career paths. AIT's will work closely with the assistants and superintendent to learn all facets of maintaining a highly ranked golf course. This will include, but not limited to:

• Involvement in morning management meetings
• Course setup
• Mowing of turfgrass surfaces 
• Green's moisture management
• Fertilizer/Pesticide calibration
• Fertilizer/Pesticide applications (Both liquid and granular)
• Irrigation scheduling and repair
• Drainage installation and repair
• Equipment operation 
• Equipment maintenance (grinding reels and bedknives, setting HOC, etc..)
• Greens aerification
