Assistant-in-Training

Weston Golf Club, located 15 minutes outside of Boston, MA, is looking for motivated individuals who are seeking advancement in the turf industry.  As a key member of the Weston Golf Club maintenance team, the Assistant-in-Training works directly with the Golf Course Superintendent and Assistant Superintendents in planning and executing daily maintenance tasks.  AITs will be exposed to all aspects of the operation including, but not limited to: golf course setup, proper plant protectant calibration/application, detailed record keeping, intense water management of all surfaces, irrigation troubleshooting and repair, and the operation of all equipment.  

The ideal candidate is a highly motivated individual who is looking to eventually become a Golf Course Superintendent.

Weston Golf Club is undergoing a major renovation in July of 2026.  This is a great opportunity for an individual to get acclimated in their role and our operation the year before the renovation.  This is also a great opportunity for an individual to gain hands on experience with all aspects of golf course construction.
