Spray/Applications Technician

Quail West Golf and Country Club is one of the Premier Golf and Residential Communities located in Naples, Florida. This 36 hole, 650 home, 1900 acre property is considered one of the most exclusive communities in the area, offering its members world class dining, golfing, athletics, spa and wellness amenities. The Quail West Grounds Department is currently seeking an IPM Technician to join our HOA Management Team.

The IPM Technician will be proficient in all tasks associated with the daily care and maintenance of a private upscale community's shrubs, trees, turf and annual flowers. Under the direction of the Grounds Manager, the IPM Technician will be responsible for chemical inventories, record keeping, and all applications of pesticides, to include weekly sprays of fertilizers, herbicides, and insecticides. The IPM Technician will be an intragyral part of the Quail West Grounds Department Management Team, overseeing spray technicians, assisting with establishing and maintaining spray schedules, and have input structuring the yearly chemical budget. This position will also assist with overseeing and maintaining the Quail West Community.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

•  Preform all duties in a safe operating manner while wearing all required safety equipment.
• Operate all spray equipment with accuracy and direction from Assistant Grounds Manager and/or Grounds Manager.
• Mixing and loading of chemicals, with knowledge of procedures to do so safely.
• Maintaining chemical inventories, spray schedules, and record keeping utilizing Playbooks software.
• Exhibit professionalism and leadership qualities throughout own self actions.
• Proactive approach to scouting for weeds, disease, and insects.
• Will assist with supervision and training of employees for chemical applications.
• Will assist with grounds maintenance when necessary.
