Turf Equipment Technician

Position Summary:

Little Mountain Country Club is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanic/Technician to join our team. This role involves inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing a variety of turf and landscape equipment to ensure they operate at peak performance. The ideal candidate will have experience with small gas and diesel engines, hydraulic and electrical systems, and turf maintenance equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform intake of all new equipment, documenting mechanical and cosmetic issues needing repair.

• Accurately test, troubleshoot, and diagnose failures in hydraulic, electrical systems, and gasoline and diesel engines.

• Read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics.

• Prepare parts lists for equipment needing repairs.

• Install necessary parts, check fluid levels, test, and ensure proper operation.

• Operate and test equipment to confirm that quality standards are met before returning it to service.

• Perform reel and bedknife setup, adjustments, grinding, and general overhauls of motors and reels.

• Install and adjust braking systems.

• Maintain overall shop cleanliness and organization.

Experience Requirements:

Preferred experience in:

• Turf and landscape equipment maintenance.

• Small gas and diesel engine repair.

• Hydraulic systems: diagnosis and repair.

• Electrical systems: diagnosis and repair.

• Bearing assemblies.

• Reel and bedknife setup, adjustments, and grinding.

• General troubleshooting skills.

Position Details: Report Directly to Superintendent.

• Start Date: ASAP

• Salary: $30 per hour.

• Location: Little Mountain Country Club.
