The International Golf Club is a premier private golf club located in Bolton, Massachusetts, offering a unique golfing experience. The club features two distinct 18-hole championship courses and a top-tier practice facility. Since coming under new ownership in 2021, the club has undergone extensive renovations, making this an exciting time to be part of its continued growth. 

Oaks Course: 
Designed by Tom Fazio and opened in 2001, the Oaks Course underwent significant restoration in the spring of 2021. This project included the re-grassing of tees, a complete bunker renovation, fairway and green expansions, and the re-establishment of waste areas. The Oaks Course also hosted a LIV Golf event in September 2022.

Fairways: Penn Trio Bentgrass 

Tees: L-93 XD Bentgrass 

Irrigation: Toro VP Satellite 

Pines Course: 
In the summer of 2022, the Pines Course was closed to allow world-renowned architects Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw to redesign and reroute the course. The new Pines Course is set to open in the Spring of 2025 

Greens: 007 XL Bentgrass 

Tees and Fairways: Fine Fescue 

Irrigation: Toro Module 2-wire Control System 

Experience Requirements

Position Overview: 

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant Superintendent to join our management team at The International. This is an excellent opportunity for a current Assistant Superintendent or an aspiring turf professional to gain hands-on experience in high-end golf maintenance. Working closely with the Superintendent, the successful candidate will have the unique opportunity to work on two distinct types of golf courses on the same property, providing valuable experience that will prepare any turf professional to take the next step in their career. 

Special Requirements

Responsibilities: 

Supervise and train crew members to ensure efficiency, safety, and quality of work 

Participate in course setup, maintenance, and special projects 

Assist in chemical and fertilizer applications, calibration, record keeping and planning 

Support irrigation management and water conservation efforts 

Learn and implement our Integrated Pest Management (IPM) practices 

Observe and contribute to budget planning and resource management 

Have MA pesticide license or obtain in first 90 days
