Omni Bedford Springs is a historic resort that dates back to 1796 and has hosted 12 US Presidents during its storied history.  The resort was the summer white house for James Buchanan during his term from 1857-1861.   

The golf course was originally built in 1895, was renovated by AW Tillinghast in 1912, and completely overhauled by Donald Ross in 1923.  In 2006 & 2007 the course was completely restored by Ron Forse and Jim Nagle.  

The course features 100% pure A1/A4 Bentgrass USGA greens, as well as Bentgrass tees and fairways.  We will be continuing our ongoing in-house bunker renovation this fall with Capillary Concrete. 

Omni Golf (Omni Hotels and Resorts) 

There are many opportunities for advancement and tournament volunteering within Omni.  There are 12 high end golf properties and over 25 courses with more in the planning stages.  Some of these courses include: 

Omni PGA Frisco, TX – will host many championships including the 2025 Women’s PGA Championship and the 2027 PGA Championship. 

Omni LA Costa, CA – will host the NCAA men’s and women’s Championship through 2028. 

Omni Homestead, VA – will host the 2025 USGA Women’s Senior Amateur Championship.  

Omni Tucson National, AZ - Former PGA Tour and Senior PGA Tour stop

Omni Amelia Island, FL -  Will be reopening in May 2025 after a complete rebuild renovation
