Assistant Superintendent
The Assistant Golf Course Superintendent (AGCS) is a key role for the Golf Course Maintenance Department at TPC Potomac. The AGCS will work closely with their fellow assistants and Golf Course Superintendent to consistently create championship conditions and provide the best member experience at the club. They will work together with and help manage a team of around 25 in-season. The AGCS will be exposed to all agronomic practices as well as detailed business duties including but not limited to budgeting, weekly report preparation, ordering and inventory check, maintenance facility checklists, and pesticide/fertilizer planning. Being a part of the TPC Network and the PGA Tour will give the AGCS opportunities within the network to advance in their careers.
Educational Requirements
Two or four year turf degree or certificate or a related field of study
Experience Requirements
- 2-3 years of turfgrass maintenance experience preferred
