Construction Shaper/Crew

• Located in Greensboro, NC, Dail Golf is a golf course management and construction company. We have an immediate need for a Construction Superintendent to join our team. We are a growing company looking to expand our construction services. This individual will assist in the oversight and management of our portfolio of construction projects. Travel is required for this position throughout, but not limited, to the state of North Carolina.
• The ideal candidate will have a knowledge of golf course construction, inputs, and maintenance. This individual must be willing to work lengthy hours in various climates/conditions. Strong management skills and a proven background in proactive problem solving are a must. A distinguished skillset in equipment operation and a detail-oriented nature is required. Previous shaping experience would place a candidate as a frontrunner for this position.

Duties Include: 

• Performs various golf course renovation tasks including the construction of greens, tees, bunkers, fairways, drainage systems, irrigation installations, land clearing and other golf course components.
• Operates various pieces of machinery (dozers, excavators, skid loaders, tractors). Hand tools including: sod cutters, chainsaws, blowers, shovels, and rakes. 
• Establishes grades and assists in ground preparation/finish work for the installation of turfgrass. 
• Coordinates logistics for equipment and material needs. Documents material costs and job expenses.
• Works with clients and management team to identify project requirements and establish deadlines.
• Supervises crews during daily operations. Assists in the recruitment and training of new employees.
• Places an emphasis on job site safety and protocols.
• Maintains consistent communication with management team.
