Assistant Superintendent

Halbert National Golf Club is an exclusive, newly constructed 18-hole facility designed by renowned architect Tom Fazio, located on the scenic shores of Lake Granbury. With fewer than 2,000 rounds projected annually, this low-volume, high-standard course offers a rare opportunity to be part of something truly special. Construction was completed in Fall 2024, and the course is currently in its grow-in phase throughout the 2025 season. 

We are currently seeking a dedicated and driven Assistant Superintendent to join our leadership team. This is a unique chance to be part of the grow-in process from the ground up, shaping the foundation of our agronomic programs and helping provide a truly exclusive experience.

Our turf types consist of Tifeagle greens, Stadium Zoysia fairways, and Zeon Zoysia roughs. Our equipment lease is Toro with a Toro 2 wire irrigation system. The club is currently in the process of developing the club grounds and club house area, along with a new maintenance facility. With multiple phases and construction ahead, this property presents exceptional opportunity to gain exposure in all aspects of high-level golf course development and operations over the coming years.

Responsibilities:

- Support the Superintendent in managing and supervising all aspects of golf course turf maintenance and operations.

- Assist in the development and implementation of comprehensive turf management programs, including irrigation, fertilization, aeration, and pest control.

- Lead and manage specific crews and task.

-Assist in fertility and pesticide applications.

-Assist in the completion of construction and grow-in phases.
