Crew Foreman
The Landscape Maintenance Foreman position is one of multifaceted responsibility. The position requires an energetic, enthusiastic team oriented strong communicator. A professional appearance and sense of self competence is integral to the role. A strong South Florida horticulture knowledge coupled with a complete understanding of correct maintenance practices and principles is imperative to job success. Effective client interaction and subordinate delegation skills are imperative.

Provide verbal and visual instructional training to lawn maintenance laborers to project efficient task performance while at all times observing the company’s safety standards.

Train each crew member in each task required to complete the maintenance application on every assigned project.

Evaluate and report all issues pertaining to the maintenance of the site that does not fall under the crew’s responsibility. These discrepancies can be but are not limited to: malfunctioning irrigation systems, tree trimming needs, insect infestation, plant or turf failure, damage to physical structures, etc.

Ensure that at the completion of an assigned maintenance application that the grounds are clean, free of yard waste and clippings. All debris is removed and placed in the proper receptacles. Cars, windows, patios, front entrances, and any other item on the physical plant not associated to the grounds maintenance have been inspected and left in same or better condition as before the crew arrived.

Manage the loading and unloading of riding and hand held equipment from trailers and trucks utilizing personnel to achieve task.

Commence maintenance in a neat, orderly, and safe fashion observing correct horticulture standards, practices and principles.

Direct client interface on a regular basis to maximize the company’s effectiveness in meeting or exceeding customer expectations.

Establish and maintain trusting client relationships to ensure maximum business opportunities and sales growth potential.

Obtain and utilize provided timesheets for each assigned account and adhere to the prescribed time lines and service guideline.

Deliver good report ability habits about your site observations by physically noting and deliver back to the immediate supervisor so it can be addressed.

Ensure that vehicles, trailers, and all equipment are clean, properly maintained and project the required image of professionalism.
Experience Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
- Experience with landscape installation projects.
- Knowledge of South Florida horticulture and grounds maintenance.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Valid Driver's License and ability to clear a 3-year Motor Vehicle Report required if you're applying for a foreman/driver position.
- Ability to operate landscaping equipment such as lawnmowers, string trimmers, edgers, etc.
- Experience with high end residential lawn maintenance.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
