All maintenance facilities will be new construction with the renovations. As the renovation of the 3 golf course will take nearly a decade and an emphasis on improving course conditions leading up to renovation has been prioritized. The majority of a Toro $2.5 million equipment package has been delivered in the fall of 2024 with the remaining pieces coming quarter 1 of 2025. Once Rock Creek Golf Course has been renovated another $1 million worth of Toro equipment will be delivered. It is imperative that we protect this investment moving forward. We are looking for an individual that has the passion for building a team similar to the initiative embarked upon on the agronomic side of the operation within the last year. As the courses get renovated, we would like to place Equipment Technicians that have been trained from within our own ranks. Ocean Reef Club in Key Largo, FL, is currently seeking interns for fall 2025 and winter 2026. ORC is a private members only facility located across 2000+ acres on the northern end of Key Largo. We are proud to be a Five Star Platinum Club, currently ranked #8 in the world. Club amenities include two 18 hole championship golf courses, a fitness center/spa, 10+ on property restaurants, a 175 slip marina, and a private members only airport. ORC interns are expected to become core members of our maintenance team. Interns with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and a willingness to learn will gain vital experience in managing two championship golf courses. This internship program is focused on getting each intern ready to make the transition to a full time assistant position. Restored and reestablished in 2017, the South Course features 18 holes of championship golf in New Orleans City Park. The position is resposible for: Repairing broken pipes, leaking fittings, weeping sprinklers, non-operating sprinklers and controller or wiring issues. Routine work includes trouble shooting the system as necessary, as well. When immediate issues do not have to be addressed, the technician will level sprinklers and set them to grade, check sprinkler arcs and nozzles and perfrom audits to improve irrigation scheduling. The technician will also be responsible for preventive maintenance, such cleaning out controllers, keeping irrigation room clean and organized, and replacing valve boxes and covers as needed.
