The position requires the individual to fulfill a posted work schedule based on operational necessities, as deemed essential by Cabot and its business demands. Core Accountabilities: · Ensure a safe, clean, and productive work environment at all times · Attending team briefings and communicating all relevant equipment concerns with the Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent and reporting to the Equipment Manager · Perform daily mowing unit inspection and operate reel and rotary sharping equipment · Perform routine maintenance services and programs as outlined by the Equipment Manager · Maintain accurate records and document the equipment repairs, parts, and inventories used · Data Tracking; Ensure all equipment daily check in records are completed accurately · Implementing and timely execution of the equipment and snow removal fleet preventative program through work order process and reports · Operate all department equipment in a responsible and safe manner at all times · Provide mechanical training for associates with regards to golf course and snow removal maintenance equipment as required · Inspects diesel, gasoline, electric, oil and other equipment fluid levels daily; reports any equipment problems or failures to the Assistant Superintendent and/or Equipment Manager immediately · Ensure all equipment and buildings are cleaned and inspected daily as per company standards · Maintain a pleasant and professional manner at all times when addressing associates, contractors, sales personnel, and/or any guests that may enter the premises · Coordinates and oversees all shop facility repairs, improvements, projects and maintenance of buildings such as small pluming, lighting, and handyman work and their financial purchases. · Fabricates and plans repair of course accessories, pull carts, construction projects & materials, tools, and equipment · Identifies unsafe areas and activities, reports hazards immediately · Learn golf terminology and the importance of each playable area such as green, tees fairway, and bunker · Adhere to the Cabot Employee Reference Handbook; Policies, Rules, and Guidelines Perform additional duties as required
