Also requires a strong understanding of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical diagnostics, small engine repair. Perform preventive maintenance and repairs ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently to support the course's maintenance and operational needs. Maintain accurate records for repairs, maintenance schedules and inventory. Reports to the superintendent the status and operating condition of all equipment. Physical demands and responsibilities Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. Frequently exposed to fumes, airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals.
