In this episode of the TurfNet Renovation Report, host Anthony Pioppi chats with Peter Brooks, CGCS, longtime superintendent at The Everglades Club in Palm Beach, Florida. Brooks has been superintendent there since 1987, and will embark on another fairway regrassing in 2023.
Brooks chats about the strategies and challenges of managing Bermudagrass fairways and eventual regrassing once the levels of OM accumulate past the point where periodic aerification is sufficient to keep them in check. He discusses new strategies with BASF's Lexicon fungicide and mechanical "sod to sprig" planting techniques.
Presented by Golf Preservations, The Andersons, and Capillary Bunkers.
