Rick Latin, Ph.D. of Purdue University (retired) discusses the chemical arsenal used to control dollar spot. That includes seven classes of fungicides that might differ with regard to mode of action and phytomobility.
The presentation focuses on fungicides that affect different targets in pathogen cells. It also will include information on resistance, including mutation and selection pressure, cross resistance, resistance mechanisms and persistence of resistant strains.
