Frank Rossi, Ph.D., of Cornell University will discuss spring fertilization, weed-control tactics, cultivation, seedhead suppression and timely disease-management issues. He also will discuss the results of research designed to help make superintendents more efficient and why turf managers have been resistant to put such methods into practice. Finally, the presenter will focus on key areas of early season management that will produce high quality turf with fewer inputs.
