Elicitors, bio- stimulants, signaling molecules, phyto-hormones and snake oils. The terms are often used interchangeably and result in comments from "can't live without them" to "what a waste of money". There are a wealth of products available causing confusion and teeth gnashing. OK, maybe not teeth gnashing but at least confusion.
