Ramsay also talks about his 20 -plus years as superintendent at Yale Golf Course in Connecticut and how his start there was challenged by a labor strike and his exit by the Covid pandemic, and in between how he transformed Yale from a run-down facility to one of the country’s premier college golf courses.
Ramsay also reflects on how the golf industry has evolved over his 46-year career, from the boom years of the 1980s and 1990s through the downturn and recent COVID-driven resurgence. He also shares his observations on emerging technology in golf course management and what it means for the future.
