Butler National Golf Club is seeking a motivated Turfgrass Management Intern for the 2027 season. This internship is designed for students and recent graduates who want meaningful hands-on experience and a broad understanding of golf course management. Interns will be involved in the daily operation of the golf course while receiving planned exposure to the areas that are most important to their professional development. Experience may include turfgrass management, irrigation, water management, chemical applications, sprayer calibration, fertility, course setup, equipment operation, and special projects. The goal of the internship is to give each individual a well-rounded experience while also allowing time to focus on the areas they are most interested in. Interns will work closely with the AIT and Assistant Superintendents and will be given increased responsibility as their knowledge and competency develop. Each intern will establish individual goals at the beginning of the season and will have opportunities to work on projects, develop technical skills, and take on leadership responsibilities. The program is structured so interns can leave Butler with skills and experience they can directly apply to the next step in their career. |
