Job Details
Valhalla Golf Club is one of the premier golf clubs in the United States and is recognized as a major championship venue. Valhalla has been host to 4 PGA Championships, 2 Sr. PGA Championships, and a Ryder Cup. We are also set to host the 2028 Solheim Cup, making Valhalla one of 4 clubs to host a Ryder Cup and a Solheim Cup and the only club to host a Ryder Cup, Solheim Cup, and a Major Championship.
Our Agronomy Team is dedicated to maintaining championship quality playing conditions on a daily basis while continuously improving the golf course through sound agronomic practices, attention to detail, and a strong culture of teamwork.
We are seeking motivated and career-focused interns to join our team for the upcoming season and beyond. This position provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience at a championship-caliber golf club while working with an experience agronomy team. The successful candidates will be exposed to all aspects of golf course management, with an emphasis on developing skills and knowledge to help further a career in the turfgrass industry.
Responsibilities and Learning Opportunities include:
-- Daily golf course setup and operation
-- Warm season (zeon zoysia) and cool season (T-1 Bentgrass) management
-- Chemical applications
-- Water management
-- Irrigation operation and troubleshooting

-- Disease, weed, insect identification and management
-- Soil testing and fertility management

Salary Range
From $18 to $19 per hour
