2nd Assistant/Assistant In Training

We are looking for a motivated individual, who is interested in moving up the career ladder.  This position will involve intensive training and a lot of learning.  Ocean City Golf Club is the original course in Ocean City, MD. We have two distinct courses Newport and Seaside.  We are a busy facility, so organizational skills are helpful.  The Seaside course was converted to IronCutter bermudagrass in the fairways and approaches.  Upgraded irrigation.  $300,000 worth of rope drainage installed this winter.   More irrigation upgrades to come.   Seaside is traditional with rectangular tee boxes and push up greens.  Wooded and scenic..  Newport is contemporary in design with Midlawn overseeded Bermuda fairways.  Oddly shaped tees, forced carries, bay views and spectacular wildlife. USGA greens upgraded in 1998.  New Toro irrigation controllers installed last winter.  USGA greens. Wireless Lynx remote Osmac irrigation.   Clubhouse completely renovated 3 years ago.  We are very proud of our facility and have a great membership that values stability.  New John Deere equipment fleet.
