Located just 40 minutes outside Bluffton/Beaufort/ Savannah, Congaree Golf Club is an 18-hole private golf club located in Ridgeland, South Carolina. Designed by world famous golf course architect, Tom Fazio, Congaree opened in 2018 with nationally renowned success. Currently ranked #40 in “America’s 100 Greatest Golf Courses”, Golf Digest has also recently recognized Congaree at #16 among "best conditioned golf courses in the U.S."

Congaree’s track record of consistently providing elite playing conditions aided the PGA Tour’s decision to use Congaree as the site for two professional events during the pandemic. Most recently, Congaree teamed up with the Arnold and Winnie Palmer Foundation and hosted the 2025 Palmer Cup. This high-profile collegiate event brought the best men and women collegiate golfers to Congaree for a week of USA vs. International team match play.

The golf course at Congaree boasts Champion Bermuda greens with TifGrand Bermuda tees, fairways, and surrounds that are framed by large expanses of sandy waste areas and wonderous live oak trees. The focal point of consistently providing firm and fast conditions continues to drive Congaree’s reputation into the elite category of reputable courses.

More than just world class conditions and a true test of golf, Congaree’s mission is as unique as the 2,200-acre property. Helping the local community in poverty-stricken areas, Congaree has partnered with programs that assist children and families in need. Our department executes Congaree’s mission by providing support to the local municipal Sargeant Jasper Golf Club. A two-week youth camp, hosted in June every year, is the culmination of the Congaree Global Golf Initiative. This beloved program fulfills the potential of disadvantaged high school students, who have a passion for golf and good academic standing, by providing them with educational, vocational, and golf-instruction aid.

Qualified candidates will work closely, in a team atmosphere, with the Golf Course Superintendent and Senior Assistant to manage the staff of 32 employees. Duties would include but are not limited to: pesticide and fertilizer applications, equipment calibration, course set up, water management, crew management, project leadership, employee scheduling, and record-keeping.  Individuals committed to developing and pursuing professional growth are valued the same as those with more industry experience.
