Munie Greencare Professionals is seeking an Agronomist to lead turf and plant health strategy across commercial properties, athletic fields, and residential turf systems—each with unique soil profiles, stressors, and performance expectations.
This is not a single-site role. This is applied agronomy at scale.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Diagnosing turf conditions including disease, insects, weeds, and soil-related stress
- Developing and adjusting fertility, soil health, and IPM programs
- Interpreting soil tests and recommending nutrient strategies
- Evaluating turf performance and implementing corrective actions
- Advising on irrigation, cultural practices, and overall turf health
- Supporting field teams with practical, science-based guidance

Job Requirements
• Experience diagnosing turf conditions (disease, insects, weeds, soil issues)
• Familiarity with fertility programs, soil health, and Integrated Pest Management (IPM)
• Background as Assistant Superintendent, Turf Specialist, Spray Technician, or similar role preferred
• Relevant field experience may be considered in lieu of formal education
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to walk properties and perform inspections throughout the day
• Pesticide applicator license (preferred or ability to obtain)
• Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
