Assistant Equipment Manager

Assist the Equipment manager with the daily maintenance schedule for all equipment. Assist in repairing all golf course equipment to help keep the operation running smoothly. Be prepared to help on the golf course as well for tournament set up or various agronomic tasks that we may be performing. Understand how to operate all golf course equipment as well as heavy equipment like excavators, skidsteer, and various tractors. Must be able to perform physical work when needed, i.e. lifting heavy objects, walk mowing, and other tasks that require physical activity. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to become the head equipment manager at an upscale private country club. A new maintenance facility is being constructed starting in 2028 after the golf course renovations are complete. The new maintenance facility will be state of the art. This position can have a direct impact on how the Equipment Managers work area will be designed.  The current equipment manager will be retiring after the 2027 season. Our expectations for this position is to move into the head Equipment Managers position once our current EM retires. Pay will be competitive. Overtime is available, and required at times. This position offers a benefits package after a 90 day probation period, as well as gas usage for daily commute. Continuing CEU's will be required and paid for by the employer.
