Assistant Equipment Mechanic
Job Details
Barton Creek Country Club & Resort, an Omni Hotels & Resorts property, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Golf Course Mechanic to support equipment maintenance operations across a premier multi-course facility.
This position plays a critical role in ensuring all golf course equipment and golf cars are maintained at the highest level to support exceptional playing conditions. The Assistant Mechanic will work closely with the Head Mechanic to perform preventative and routine maintenance, diagnose and repair equipment issues, and contribute to the overall efficiency of the operation.
Additional responsibilities include supporting parts inventory and purchasing systems, maintaining accurate maintenance records through computer systems, assisting with employee training on equipment use, and contributing to a safe, clean, and organized shop environment. Familiarity with irrigation systems and an understanding of how equipment performance impacts golf course conditions are beneficial.

Job Requirements
Candidates should have a minimum of two years of experience as an Assistant Golf Course Mechanic or in a related role, along with a strong work ethic, effective communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
