Assistant Equipment Technician
Job Details
Piper’s Landing Yacht & Country Club is seeking an Assistant Equipment Technician to join our Golf Course Maintenance team. This position will work closely with the Equipment Manager to maintain and repair our fleet of golf course maintenance equipment, utility vehicles, and golf carts.
The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, dependable, organized, and interested in developing their skills in golf course equipment maintenance. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, oil and filter changes, lubrication, reel and rotary mower maintenance and sharpening, troubleshooting minor electrical and hydraulic issues, maintaining service records, and assisting with other repairs as needed

Job Requirements
Experience Requirements
Minimum of 1-2 years of mechanical repair experience preferred. Golf course, agricultural, small engine experience a plus.
Knowledge or experience with engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and reel or rotary cutting units is preferred.

Educational Requirements
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required. Trade school or technical training in small engines, or mechanical repair is preferred.
Special Requirements
Valid driver's license required to operate club vehicles. Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds and work in an outdoor golf course maintenance environment. Personal inventory of basic mechanical hand tools is highly preferred.
Salary Range
From $27 to $30 per hour
