North Shore Country Club is seeking a driven, hands-on Assistant Superintendent to support the daily maintenance and conditioning of the golf course. This role is ideal for a motivated turf professional looking to advance their career in a high-quality club environment with a strong focus on culture, agronomic excellence, team development, and safety.
- Assist the Superintendent in planning and executing all aspects of golf course maintenance
- Lead, train, and develop maintenance staff to ensure safe and efficient daily operations
- Oversee and actively participate in hand watering to maintain consistent turf quality
- Assist with and apply fertilizer and chemical programs.
- Monitor course conditions and proactively address turf health concerns
- Participate in and help execute daily course setup to meet club standards
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with club expectations
- Maintain a collaborative and positive team environment that encourages communication and accountability
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations

Job Requirements
Experience Requirements
-2-3+ years of golf course management experience
-Knowledge of irrigation systems, fertilizer programs, and spray applications
-Prior experience with course setup and spraying is preferred
-Ability to obtain or currently hold a pesticide applicator license
-Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
-Commitment to high-quality course conditions, teamwork, and safety
-Demonstrates flexibility to accommodate increased workloads and longer hours during seasonal demand.
