Peninsula Golf & Racquet Club is seeking a motivated and team oriented Assistant Golf Course Superintendent to join our agronomy leadership team at our 27-hole semi-private, resort-style facility along Alabama’s Gulf Coast. This position works directly with and is supported by the Director of Agronomy in overseeing daily golf course maintenance and conditioning.
This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who enjoys being involved in day-to-day operations, developing team members, and helping deliver consistent, high-quality playing conditions. The ideal candidate brings a strong sense of attention to detail, pride in course presentation, and a commitment to maintaining standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in overseeing daily maintenance and agronomic operations across all 27 holes, clubhouse, and common grounds
- Execute agronomic programs including fertility, pest management, cultural practices, and water management
- Supervise, train, and mentor maintenance staff
- Maintain safe work practices and equipment standards
- Communicate effectively with the Director of Agronomy and maintenance team
- Monitor course conditions with a detail-oriented approach
- Participate in improvement projects and long-range planning initiatives
