Bensalem Township Country Club is seeking a passionate, dedicated, and highly motivated Assistant Golf Course Superintendent to join our leadership team. Working directly under the supervision of the Golf Course Superintendent, the Assistant Superintendent will play a key role in directing, planning, and participating in the daily maintenance and operations of the golf course, grounds, and surrounding facilities.

Essential Responsibilities:
Assists in planning, scheduling, and supervising the daily maintenance of greens, tees, fairways, roughs, and bunker complex areas.
Directs, trains, and leads daily operations for full-time and seasonal grounds crew members.
Oversees and performs chemical and fertilizer applications, ensuring accurate calibration and safe pesticide handling in compliance with state regulations.
Monitors, maintains, and operates irrigation systems, drainage infrastructure, and pumping stations.
Instructs crew members on the safe operation and care of mowing and specialty turf management equipment.
Assists with personnel management, safety training, daily task assignment, and performance evaluations.
Maintains accurate, comprehensive operational and chemical application records.
Serves in the capacity of the Golf Course Superintendent during their absence.
Assists with winter maintenance operations, including snow removal on course and Township property as needed.

Job Requirements
Valid Driver's License.
Strong working knowledge of turfgrass maintenance practices, chemical application calibration, and water management.
Demonstrated leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays during the playing season.
2–3+ years of progressive golf course maintenance experience preferred (recent turf management graduates are also encouraged to apply).
Salary Range
$60,000 per year
