Assistant Superintendent
Job Details
We invite you to join a dynamic and collaborative team dedicated to excellence in golf course management. Established in 1957, MCRA operates self-supporting public facilities, including the Montgomery County Golf system of nine courses, The Crossvines, and the Montgomery County Airpark, while financing public facilities that serve the community.
About the Golf Course
- Hampshire Greens is a challenging Lisa Maki-designed course that first opened for play in 1999.
- The golf course is in an upscale neighborhood of the same name and covers about 200 acres.
- The 18-hole facility is an upscale experience at a daily fee price, and features creeping bentgrass fairways, tees, and greens, and a bermudagrass driving range tee.
- We try to tackle most projects ourselves, which adds to the variety of work.
- The Toro central-controlled irrigation system and pump station are from the original construction and are in good operating condition.
- Hampshire Greens is a Certified Audubon International Cooperative Sanctuary.
- As part of MCRA’s Montgomery County Golf network, Hampshire Greens benefits from shared resources, equipment, and a collaborative agronomy team that regularly supports one another across properties.

- Engaging Atmosphere: A fast-paced, high-energy setting where hard work, safety, and fun go hand in hand.
