ABOUT THE CLUB
Pete Dye Golf Club of Bridgeport, WV, is proud to be considered among the country’s finest golf courses, ranking perennially on various “top 100” lists. Legendary designer Pete Dye called it “18 of the most exciting holes I ever built on one course.” The Club is home to the West Virginia University Men’s Golf Team and is the annual host of the Mountaineer Invitational Collegiate Tournament each April. The 2026 Golf Season opens with a brand-new Toro 2-wire LSM System with 2000+ sprinklers. This fall will see paving enhancements around our Turf Care Center and early drainage work to prepare the site for future building additions to increase our storage capabilities and provide expanded employee housing opportunities. Future projects being planned under the guidance of Jim Nagle include restoration of bunker and teeing complexes, adjustment of fairway grass lines, and further enhancements to the practice facility. The club is also engaged in early design planning for clubhouse enhancements that will provide updated member spaces and improvements to service areas.
