Heritage Club in Mason, Ohio (Just north of Cincinnati) is Currently seeking a motivated Assistant Superintendent to join its agronomy team. Heritage Club is a private 18 hole club who's identity is centered around its golf course. With bent grass USGA greens and and Bent/Poa fairways and tees, Heritage Club is an excellent spot to learn to manage cool season grass in the transition zone.
In the last 8 years the club has invested heavily into the property and its maintenance with several enhancements:
-26,000 sq ft putting green
-New driving range with 1.5 acres of teeing space
-Freshly rebuilt bunkers
-New pump station
-New Toro leased equipment fleet including GPS sprayers.
-The club is planning to replace the irrigation system in 2028.
A successful Assistant Superintendent can expect to join an agronomy team with a culture of collaboration and ownership. Assistant Superintendents report to the Superintendent and take on a large role in scheduling day to day operations, supervising quality work completion, applying pesticides and fertilizers safely and effectively according to plans, water management, as well as leading in house construction projects . The ideal candidate will be motivated to excel and have the desire to become a superintendent themselves, while also providing guidance to young turf professionals (Assistants-In-Training and interns) to develop other aspiring Superintendents.

Job Requirements
Ability to obtain Ohio Commercial Pesticide Applicators license in 90 days
Salary Range
$70,000 per year
