Position SummaryThe Assistant Golf Course Superintendent assists the Golf Course Superintendent in directing all aspects of golf course maintenance, agronomic programs, personnel management, irrigation operations, and equipment utilization. Job Requirements
Associate's Degree in Turfgrass Management required; Bachelor's Degree in Agronomy, Horticulture, Plant Science, or related field preferred.
Previous experience serving under an experienced Golf Course Superintendent is required.
Supervisory experience within a golf course maintenance operation preferred.
Florida pesticide applicator license or ability to obtain.
Valid driver's license.
Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of irrigation systems, equipment operation, turfgrass management, and golf course maintenance practices.
Passion for producing exceptional playing conditions and advancing within the golf industry.
This position requires working outdoors in varying weather conditions typical of Florida, including heat and humidity. Duties involve lifting, bending, walking, climbing, operating maintenance equipment, and performing physically demanding work throughout the golf course.
