Job Details
POSITION: DIRECTOR OF LANDSCAPING
SUPERVISOR: ASSISTANT VICE PRESIDENT FOR ADMINISTRATIVE AFFAIRS
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be a Christian who is a member of a church that holds Jesus Christ to be their Savior and Lord, and who holds solely the Old Testament and the New Testament as sacred Scriptures.
- Must have prior managerial supervisory experience.
GENERAL OBJECTIVES:
The Director of Landscaping is responsible for providing daily management of all ground maintenance and landscaping of DBU property and supervising the Landscaping Department.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have degree or equivalent certifications in the field of landscaping as deemed necessary to perform basic requirements of position.
- Must hold state licenses required to supervise irrigation installation and pesticide application.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage all grounds maintenance and landscaping on the DBU main campus, the Hexter Property addition, the adopted highway landscape in accordance with the Momentum Dallas Project, the Hurst campus, and the Mt. Lebanon Hospitality Home lot.
- Supervise the Landscaping Department employees, set daily department agenda and tasks.
- Carry out project requests from the Assistant Vice President for Administrative Affairs or the Senior Vice President.
EMPLOYEE COMPENSATION/BENEFITS:
As agreed upon with the Senior Vice President.
WORK SCHEDULE:
Regular hours between 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday, but regularly flexible hours will be required.
