Pure Solutions is seeking an experienced turf care professional to lead our lawn care division across Massachusetts, including Cape Cod, and Rhode Island.

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who understands turf science, enjoys developing people, and takes pride in delivering excellent results for clients. You will oversee service quality, team performance, seasonal planning, and the continued growth of our organic-based lawn care programs.

Based out of our Weston headquarters, this position combines field leadership, client consultations, and operational management, with regular travel to our service locations.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and develop the team. Train, coach, and support turf field specialists and team leaders. Partner with leadership and HR on hiring, performance reviews, and accountability.
  • Own seasonal execution. Coordinate staffing, scheduling priorities, and service rounds with field operations and office teams to complete work efficiently and within appropriate application windows.
  • Set turf care standards. Guide product selection, application rates, equipment calibration, and treatment practices. Diagnose turf problems and adjust recommendations based on soil conditions, weather, and property needs.
  • Deliver excellent client results. Conduct property assessments and quality inspections, interpret soil tests, resolve lawn concerns, and explain recommendations clearly.
  • Manage division performance. Monitor production, labor and material costs, service completion, callbacks, and client retention. Identify opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, and profitability.
  • Keep teams equipped and prepared. Forecast product needs, coordinate purchasing, and work with the equipment team to maintain reliable trucks and turf equipment.
  • Support responsible growth. Help sales and client experience teams develop accurate proposals, verify property measurements, and recommend appropriate additional services. Develop customized programs for residential and commercial properties, schools, and municipalities.
  • Maintain safe, compliant operations. Oversee application records, product handling, safety practices, and applicable licensing and continuing education requirements.
  • Stay involved in the field. Demonstrate techniques, troubleshoot equipment and application issues, and assist with services when needed.

  • Strong knowledge of cool-season turf, soil science, fertility, weeds, insects, disease, and seasonal lawn care practices.
  • Experience interpreting soil tests and calibrating liquid and granular application equipment.
  • Ability to organize multiple crews, manage competing priorities, and communicate effectively with clients and coworkers.
  • Comfort using service management software and production reports to manage daily operations.
  • A commitment to organic-based lawn care and continued professional development.
  • A degree in turf management, horticulture, or a related field is preferred; equivalent practical experience is welcome.

  • Ability to travel regularly between service locations and work outdoors, with schedule flexibility during peak seasonal periods.
