Job Title: Golf Course Equipment Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Equipment Manager to play a key role in maintaining the quality and performance of our golf course operations.

Position Summary:
The Equipment Manager is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and overall management of all golf course equipment. This position works closely with the Golf Course Superintendent to ensure all machinery is operating efficiently and set to the highest standards for course conditioning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair all golf course maintenance equipment including greens mowers, fairway mowers, rough units, utility vehicles, tractors, and small engines
• Establish and execute a comprehensive preventative maintenance program
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, service schedules, and equipment inventory
• Manage parts inventory and order supplies in a cost-effective manner
• Set up and adjust mowing equipment to meet course standards and specifications
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized maintenance facility
• Train staff on proper equipment operation and basic care
• Ensure all equipment meets safety and environmental compliance standards
• Assist in evaluating and recommending equipment purchases and replacements

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in equipment maintenance, preferably in a golf course or turf environment
• Strong knowledge of small engines, diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
• Welding and fabrication experience is a plus
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Basic computer skills for tracking maintenance and inventory
• Valid driver’s license required

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions
• Capable of standing, bending, and performing manual tasks for extended periods
