We are seeking a motivated Assistant Golf Course Superintendent to join our team and help maintain the high standards that define our course.

Qualifications

• 2-4 year degree in Turfgrass Management, Agronomy, Horticulture, or a related field required
• Previous golf course maintenance experience required
• Knowledge of turfgrass management practices, irrigation systems, fertilizer and pesticide applications, and equipment operation
• Strong work ethic, leadership abilities, and attention to detail
• Ability to work early mornings, weekends, holidays, and in varying weather conditions

Responsibilities

• Assist the Golf Course Superintendent in all aspects of golf course maintenance and operations
• Help manage and maintain championship-level course conditions on 18 holes of Bermuda fairways and Bentgrass greens
• Monitor turf health and implement cultural practices to promote optimal playing conditions
• Assist with irrigation scheduling, troubleshooting, and repairs
• Supervise, train, and motivate maintenance staff
• Assist with pesticide and fertilizer applications in accordance with state regulations and best management practices
• Ensure daily course setup meets the club's standards for playability and presentation
• Operate and maintain golf course equipment as needed
• Support planning and execution of agronomic programs, special projects, and course improvements
