Full-Time Ground’s Position

Join the team at Shannopin Country Club and experience a rewarding outdoor work environment. Assist in the maintenance of the golf course, clubhouse grounds, pool grounds, racquet sports facilities, and the grounds maintenance building. This position is full-time year around, providing at minimum 40 hours/week with over-time opportunities. 

Position Tasks:

• Operates riding and walking mowing equipment for golf course putting greens, tees, fairways, and rough.
• Operates gas powered hand tools for mowing and trimming.
• Performs landscaping tasks including edging, mulching, planting, and pulling weeds.
• Performs tasks for maintaining bunkers – including raking, pulling weeds, edging, and trimming.
• Fills divots on golf course tees, fairways, and the driving range tees.
• Assists with the use, maintenance, and repair of the golf course irrigation system.
• Assists with various construction, renovation, and improvement projects on the golf course and clubhouse grounds.
• Assists with tree pruning and removal projects.
• Responsible for the cleaning and maintenance of the golf course equipment and grounds maintenance building.
• Perform other appropriate tasks assigned by the Grounds Superintendent.
