The mechanic is responsible for ensuring the continuous operation and maintenance of all turf equipment. This role is tasked with diagnosing, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing the various mechanical pieces at La Contenta Golf Course
About the club -
La Contenta golf club is a championship golf course in the Sierra foothills of Calaveras county. Known for its hilly terrain, scenic views, and challenging play for various skill levels. It features a par 72 layout with signature 13th hole. The club is recognized as a premier public facility in Northern California.

Responsibilities -
- Perform mechanical repairs on gasoline and diesel golf course equipment in a timely and precise manner
- Maintain all equipment in safe and operable condition
- Implement and maintain a preventive maintenance program for all equipment
- Order parts and supplies as needed while tracking inventory and expenses for budget purposes
- Perform mower grinding and sharpening of reels
- Maintain cleanliness and orginization of the equipment shop and maintenance facilities
