Golf Course Mechanic

Experience working with gas and diesel engines. Preferably with golf turf maintenance equipment. Responsible for preventive maintenance and repairs.

Keep mowers sharp with very high standards for quality of cut. Daily inspection and check cutting heights and make certain mowers are properly greased and ready in operating condition for scheduled use. Foley Grinder experience is preferred, or you must be capable of quickly learning.

Responsible for maintaining a Record & Logbook of preventive maintenance and repairs.

Communicate with Superintendent to quickly resolve emergency break down issues.

Must be self-motivated with a positive, pleasant attitude.

Call and order parts for repairs and file and organize invoices.

Ability to diagnose mechanical issues and properly repair in timely manner.

This position involves physical abilities such as bending flexibility, kneeling, lifting objects 50lbs. and work occasionally outdoor weather and environmental conditions.

Maintain a clean and orderly shop and safe environment.

Must be dependable and able to arrive on time and work a 40 hours within Monday through Friday.

Must be skilled in use of wide variety of repair tools.
