Open for play in 1927, Pine Needles Lodge & Golf Club is designed by one of the most famous architect Donald Ross. Winding around a series of knolls and ridges, the course has held four US Women’s Opens and one Senior Women’s Open.
The course is located in Southern Pines just minutes from Pinehurst NC. The course features Ultra Dwarf greens and Bermuda tees and fairways. The Resort course is the flagship of five properties that is privately owned.

Experience Requirements
Five years experience as Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent.
Significant experience in turf management.
Seeking highly motivated, hard working individuals who are passionate about furthering their career in golf course turf management.
Supervise team members by carrying out responsibilities in accordance with club’s policies and procedures. This includes planning, assigning, and at times performing activities of the team members supervised.
Lead by example, He/She sets bench mark performance to the department in the areas motivation, sense of ownership, and dedication to quality of performance.

Educational Requirements
The ideal candidate will posses a 2 or 4 year degree in Agronomy, Turf Management, or related field from a accredited University
Valid Drivers License
Obtain a NC Pesticide License within 3 months of Employment

Special Requirements
Working knowledge of golf course principles, practices, and methods.
Working knowledge of running, repairing and installing irrigation.
