Eagle Creek Golf Club is seeking a passionate, hands-on Golf Course Superintendent to lead all agronomic operations and help shape the future of our golf course.

About Eagle Creek Golf Club

Located just minutes from Chesapeake and Virginia Beach, Eagle Creek Golf Club is an 18-hole public golf course with a loyal customer base and exciting growth plans. Recent investments include a new covered driving range, TrackMan technology, expanded practice facilities, and continued improvements throughout the property. We are committed to providing outstanding playing conditions while creating a fun, welcoming atmosphere for golfers of every skill level.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all golf course maintenance operations.
• Manage greens, tees, fairways, roughs, bunkers, and landscaping.
• Develop and execute fertility, irrigation, and pest management programs.
• Supervise, train, schedule, and motivate the maintenance team.
• Manage departmental budgets and equipment maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with all environmental and safety regulations.
• Work closely with ownership to establish both short- and long-term course improvement plans.
• Maintain exceptional playing conditions throughout the year.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Golf Course Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent.
• Degree or certificate in Turfgrass Management preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cool-season turf management.
• Experience with irrigation systems, chemical applications, and equipment management.
• Virginia or North Carolina pesticide license (or ability to obtain).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Self-motivated with a passion for producing outstanding golf course conditions.
