Golf Course Superintendent

Key Responsibilities:

• Course Maintenance and Turf Management
• Oversee the care and maintenance of all areas of the golf course, including fairways, greens, tees, roughs, bunkers, and landscaping
• Conducting in house projects
• Irrigation Management
• Oversee the operation and maintenance of the irrigation system to ensure efficient water distribution across the course.
• Troubleshoot and repair any issues with the irrigation system, such as broken sprinklers or faulty timers
• Staff Management and Leadership
• Supervise, train, and manage a team of groundskeepers and maintenance personnel, ensuring they are equipped to perform daily tasks and long-term maintenance projects.
• Budgeting and Financial Management
• Develop and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources for labor, equipment, fertilizers, pesticides, and other course maintenance needs.
• Course Setup and Playability
• Coordinate with the Head Professional to ensure the course is set up for daily play, including marking tees, flags, and hole locations.
• Equipment Management
• Oversee the proper maintenance and repair of all equipment used in course maintenance, including mowers, tractors, aerators, and irrigation systems.

• Reporting and Communication
• Provide regular updates to General Manager regarding the status of the course, maintenance issues, and the condition of equipment and facilities.
• Maintain records of all maintenance work performed on the course, including fertilization, irrigation, pest control, and equipment servicing
