Star Farms Golf Resort and Signature One Management Services are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Golf Course Superintendent to oversee all aspects of golf course maintenance and grounds operations. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional playing conditions and overall property appearance by implementing advanced agronomic programs. Star Farms is a new golf and community construction project located in Northport, Florida. The Forestar group is the owner and developer of the property. The project is currently in the early mass excavation phase with golf construction starting this fall.

Job Requirements
Experience Requirements
Minimum of 5+ years of progressive golf course maintenance experience, with at least 2 years in a Superintendent or First Assistant role.
Educational Requirements
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Turfgrass Management, Agronomy, Horticulture, or a closely related field.
Special Requirements
• Licensing: Must possess a valid Florida Commercial Fertilizer Applicator Certificate and a Florida Pesticide Applicator License (or have the ability to obtain it within 90 days of hire).
• Golf Construction-Grow in: Prior experience in golf construction and growing in a golf course would be beneficial. Proven expertise in managing warm-season turfgrass, managing water quality challenges and executing summer cultural practices.
• Availability: Ability to work early mornings, weekends, holidays, and adjust schedules based on severe weather events.

$130,000 per year
