This is not a routine landscape management role. It is an opportunity to help lead and care for one of the most remarkable mountain communities in the country. A 2,177-acre private community near Lake Tahoe with parks, trails, recreation amenities, water features, gathering spaces, and an extraordinary year-round setting.
The Grounds Manager will lead daily operations for the Grounds Department under the Director of Grounds/Community General Manager, supervise the landscape team and contractors, and help shape the property's appearance, health, safety, and long-term stewardship. The role combines leadership, horticulture, planning, project execution, member interaction, and four-season mountain operations in a setting that feels less like a traditional job and more like managing your own private national park.

Job Requirements
Experience Requirements
3–5 years of relevant technical and management experience.
Knowledge of pruning, turf management, planting, annual/perennial care, and native plants and ecosystems.
Understanding of irrigation systems, operations, and repair.
Resource management experience and strong organizational ability.
Proficiency with PCs and Microsoft products.
Valid driver’s license with insurability under company policy.
Strong written and verbal English; Spanish is helpful but not required.
California DPR applicator certificate/license, or willingness to obtain within 6 months of employment.
Ability to lift 55 pounds regularly and work outdoors for long hours in changing mountain weather conditions.
