Job Details
The Head Golf Course Superintendent is responsible for the overall maintenance, conditioning, and appearance of the golf course, clubhouse grounds, landscaping, irrigation systems, and maintenance facilities.
Working closely with the General Manager and Greens Committee, the Superintendent will develop both short-and long term agronomic plans while maintaining budgets, staff, equipment, and daily operations.

Job Requirements
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 3-5 years of golf course management experience (Head Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent ready for advancement)
Educational Requirements
- Degree or certificate in Turfgrass Management, Agronomy, Horticulture or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3-5 years of golf course management experience (Head Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent ready for advancement)
- GCSAA Class A Member preferred
- Nebraska pesticide applicator license (or ability to obtain)
- Strong understanding of irrigation systems and water management
- Budget management experience
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to motivate and develop employees
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Passion for producing exceptional golf course conditions
- Minimum of 3-5 years of golf course management experience (Head Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent ready for advancement)
- GCSAA Class A Member preferred
- Nebraska pesticide applicator license (or ability to obtain)

- Maintain outstanding playing conditions throughout the golf season
- Supervise, train, and mentor full-time and seasonal maintenance staff
- Recruit and retain quality employees
- Prepare and administer the annual operating budget
- Oversee maintance equipment replacement and preventative maintenance
- Work collaboratively with the General Manager and other department leaders
- Develop and implement annual agronomic programs
- Maintain outstanding playing conditions throughout the golf season

Salary Range
From $75,000 to $85,000 per year
