The equipment manager reports to the golf course superintendent and oversees a comprehensive maintenance program. This program includes the repair of failing equipment, keeping detailed records of parts and labor to maintain the equipment fleet, diagnosing equipment issues, overseeing a preventative maintenance plan, and placing orders for parts and supplies. The equipment manager properly communicates the needs of each piece of equipment and will have the ability to track expenses.
