Irrigation Technician

The Country Club of Oxford

The Country Club of Oxford is looking for an experienced Irrigation Technician to join our team. We are seeking someone with hands-on experience in both commercial and residential irrigation systems. Golf course irrigation experience is a plus.

What You'll Do

• Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and install irrigation systems

• Diagnose and repair electronic irrigation valves and controllers/clocks

• Service and replace sprinkler heads

• Work with both glued and gasketed irrigation pipe

• Troubleshoot and maintain valve-in-head irrigation systems

• Work with block zones and other irrigation components

• Help keep the property’s irrigation system operating efficiently and reliably

What We're Looking For

• Previous commercial and residential irrigation experience

• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills

• Knowledge of electronic irrigation valves and controllers

• Experience working with sprinkler heads and irrigation piping

• Golf course irrigation experience is a plus

• Experience with valve-in-head systems is a plus

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Dependable, hardworking, and safety-conscious

Our Irrigation System

We operate a Rain Bird irrigation system consisting of a combination of valve-in-head and block zones.

Compensation & Benefits

• $15–$20 per hour, based on experience

• 80 hours of PTO
